This is the update-result of the post Manfredo fights fellow Contender fighter.
Event: "August Annihilation"
The former title challenger Peter Manfredo, Jr. (31-5, 16 KOs) savagely annihilated Donny “Savage” McCrary (24-8-2, 13 KOs) by TKO at 1:24 of round two, tonight at the Twin Rivers Events Center in Lincoln, R.I. “I kept hitting this guy with rights and then got him with the big left,” said Manfredo. “I knew he was going to come out and bang with me but I’m too sharp for him. I kind of got robbed of the knockout, but I’m glad he didn’t get hurt.” Fighting at 168, and winning the vacant NABF Interim belt, Manfredo said he was ready to move on with his career. “I feel like I can be in there with anybody and everybody at this weight. I’m enjoying boxing now. I’ve put the Lacy fight behind me. I blew that one. We wanted to get this fight out of the way first and now I’ll be calling out a lot of people. I’d love to get Biko if the offer is right. If I have to fight guys like Froch or Pascal to get a world title fight, I will.”
