Danny Green has vowed to knockout all time great
Roy Jones, Jr. when they clash on December 2nd at the Acer Arena in Sydney, NSW, Australia. Green said. “I will knock the bloke out.” Green also denied he and Jones were friends. “How do you become friends with a bloke when you’ve only met him three times. We’re not mates at all. I don’t know too many buddies that want to knock each other out as much as we do. He’s one of the greatest of all time and conducts himself as a complete professional, so in that way we’re very similar, but come December 2nd, I’m going to unleash the fury and knock him out.” Danny Green challenged Anthony Mundine in a bout that attracted a live gate of over 30,000 fight fans and record pay-per-view sales. “Mundine was a domestic scrap. This is going to be the biggest fight in the world this year,” Green said. Danny Green captured the WBA light heavyweight title in 2007 when he scored a shutout twelve round decision over Stipe Drews.
